Notes |
- Abraham Mabee first is found in Martha Jane Vreeland's letter,
with Anna/Annice Decker as hia wife. He is found in the 1850
census with Anna and he is listed as 24 years old. He is found
in the 1860 census listed as 36 years old and again in the 1870
census listed as 49 years old, the variance of his age is often
the case in this time period. His family is found with him on
the 1850,1860, and 1870 census records. They had 11 children
with Horace listed as the fifth child. Horace is my direct
line. His family is found on the 1885 census but he is not. His
birth place on the the 1850 census is listed as N.Jersey. All
census records are for West Milford, Passic, New Jersey.
From the Maybee Society files. Not all data is verified. Say dates are estimates and are probably within 20 years. The Maybee Society keeps its data on The Master Genealogist, and has been modified by Gary Hester?s WIT2NOTE to form the GedCom file. This information is also available in a TMG file. [13]
