Married:
- A very pretty house wedding took place in West Essa on
Wednesday, Oct. 20th,at the home of Mr. Wm. Connell of the
Scotch line, when his daughter, Margaret Flora, was united in
marriage to Mr. Ernest O. Mabee of Albion. The ceremony was
performed at noon by the Rev. W. L. Atkinson of Everett in the
presence of the immediate friends only. Miss Eva Mabee, sister
of the groom, rendered the wedding march. The bride was given
away by her father and looked charming in a dainty gown of
white silk mull. Her traveling suit was of brown with hat to
match. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Mabel,
gowned in blue silk mull, while the groom was attended by Mr.
R. Elliott of Albion. The groom's gift to the bride was an
exquisite pearl crescent and to the bridesmaid a gold bracelet.
After luncheon the bridal party left for Alliston amidst hearty
congratulations, to take the evening train for Toronto and
Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. Mabee will reside in Albion, near
Bolton. The best wishes of many Essa friends follow Mrs. Mabee
to her new home.
