- LeRoy Bush passed away this afternoon. I talked to Viola tonight, they had been to see LeRoy about 2 hours before and just got home when she got the message. His lungs kept filling with fluid, so it was heart failure. He has been in a care facility for several weeks now.
His service will be March 15th at 4 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Orting, Washington.

We left home a little before 1 p.m. of Wed. and got to the Church on time to give each family member a hug and the service started. All of Viola's children and spouses were there. Lots of her grandchildren and some great-grands. One little great-granddaughter came and sat on Viola's lap durning the service. It was so cute. I and Cathy sat beside Viola. It was a great service--no tears. Sharon played the piano and sang several songs. Her music is so beautiful, whether voice or fingers. The service was truely a celebration of LeRoys life. Now that he is out of the picture, the kids can begin to give Viola the care she needs. It was a relief to all, for LeRoy was again begging Viola to bring him home again so she could take care of him. The situation was not good.
LeRoy's son and wife were there and also a grown granddaughter, his only grandchild. There was a grandson, but he was killed when he was hit with a car or truck while riding his bike as a young teenager. Also a neice of his by his first marriage. I knew the first wife well and her extended family, so had a good visit with her also.
It was great to be with all of the family for the 4 hours we were there. Viola was doing well, but was very tired by the time we left at 8 p.m. and managed to get home by 11: p.m.
