«b»Sir Anthony Browne«/b»'s Will states she was his next heir after «b»Anthony«/b», so she was not illegitimate. In «b»Lucy Neville«/b»'s will, there is no ref to a late dau., nor to «b»Brandon«/b» grand-daughters.
Jorge H. Castelli, author of the Tudor place, says her mother was Sir Anthony Browne's first wife Eleanor OUGHTRED and that his second wife was Lucy Neville. Others do not mention Eleanor at all making Lucy, Anne's mother. This could be why Lucy did not mention Anne's children in her will.
