The Complete Peerage vol.X,p.254-256. Viscount Bolebec. According to «b»Arthur Wilson«/b», Life of James I (1643), the «b»Earl of Oxford«/b» was of no reputation in his youth, being very debauched and riotous, and, having no means, maintained it by sordid and unworthy ways. On 22 Jul 1611 «b»Oxford«/b»'s mother «b»Elizabeth«/b» complained against «b»John Hun«/b»t, «b»Henry«/b»'s second cousin and his "bedmate", who seduces her son into evil courses, leads him to extravagance, and prejudices him against her authority. «b»Earl Henry«/b» died of wounds received at the siege of Breda.
