George his son wrote letter saying Palmer was raised by his great grandparents by the name of Chute. His wife and two children died when George was 6. He also mentioned an Uncle Sexton of Detroit Michigan.
I found Palmer Glovers recruitment in Canada in 1918. He stated that he had 1 year previous military service in the USA. His mother was Mrs Charles Ellsworthat 325 E. 5th st, Jacksonville Florida. He was 5'7" medium complexion, blue eyes, and dark hair. There is a manifest at Port Huron, Mich for admission to USA for Palmer Glover 11 who had been living with Uncle Lemuel Chotte (Chute) in Strathroy Ontario. Typed next to his name is Disappeared.
