He was styled as Lord Mautravers between 1487 and 1524. He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 29 Nov 1489. He succeeded to the title of 17th Earl of Arundel on 25 Oct 1524. He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 25 Jun 1525.
