Marie died of Cardio-Pulmonary Obstructive Disease, commonly known as COPD, a combination of emphysema and bronchitis. Buried at Chapel Hill Garden of Devotion, 3 C1 (Medical):Marie had pleurisy, and was normally about 98 lbs. No one knew she was as sick as she was, including her doctor and specialist who had treated her for 11 years.
