  Notes	In Caries records there is a death date of Nov. 1940 John Lowes filed on a homestead in Ventura County California on December 20, 1918 #656881 serial # CALA0025355. the homestead sale was for Meridian or Watershed: SB, Parcel Twonship 003NRange, 019W, Section 10 and section 9 John, Ermel, Bertha, & Harold were buried in the Lowes plot at Camarillo Cemetery, which was moved due to highway construction. They were interred at Ivy Lawn Cemetery in sec D. Myrtle Lowes Smith is also buried there.
