In 1606 he was appointed Keeper of the Great Park, a park created for hunting by «u»Henry VIII «/u» around «u»Nonsuch Palace «/u» of which «u»Worcester Park «/u» was a part. The residence «u»Worcester Park House «/u» was built in 1607.
Somerset is buried in the family chapel in the «u»Church of St Cadoc, Raglan, Monmouthshire «/u»
