| Notes |
- considered the beginning of what would become the American Boone/Bohun line. He married «b»Saveric FitzGeoffrey«/b», Countess of Ballymadd Co. Kildar, Ireland and was himself Earl of Midhurst, Ford and Rustington, Sussex. He accompanied his brother-in-law, «b»William FitzGeoffrey«/b», on pilgrimage to St. James of Campostella, Spain and spent several years there (note his son's name «b»Franco«/b»). He was also the benefactor of the Abbey of Grendon who married «b»Lora«/b». As younger brother, «b»Ralph«/b» didn't inherit the house and lands and hence, marriage bargaining advantages of the first-born. «b»Ralph«/b»'s mother, «b»Maud FitzGeoffrey«/b», was the elder sister of «b»Ralph«/b»'s wife «b»Saveric Fitz Geoffrey«/b» (who was thus both «b»Ralph«/b»'s aunt and his wife).
