| Notes |
- Frank and Alma ran a blacksmith shop in South Bend for about 30 years. Her obituary states that it was located at Sample and Lafayette Blvd. However, I have an advertisement for the business (Polk City Directory for South Bend, IN 1926) showing it located at 714 S. Prairie Avenue, which is the little garage building [Benko's Garage in the early 1970s] on the point where Kemble Street meets Prairie Avenue. psg 6-10-2004
