- Henry Kingsbury was at Ipswich in 1638 (Fellt's History); 1641 (theHammi tt papers). In 1648 he sold his 32 acre farm in Ipswich and bought of Dani el Ladd of Haverhill house and land on High Street in Ipswich. Twelve yea rs later Aug 30, 1660
Henry Kingsbury with his wife Susan sold their land on High Street for t wo oxen in hand to Robert Lord. He moved to Rowley, afterward to Bradfo rd Mass. Henry Kingsbury was the first Kingsbury in New England. He came o ver in theTalbot, one of
the ships in Govenor Winthrops fleet, in 1630. He had lived near Winthr op in England, at Assington, the next paris toGroton. (reference Massachus etts Historical Society)
