Queen «b»Judith«/b» or «b»Iudit«/b», also known as «b»Judith of Bavaria«/b», was the daughter of Count «u»Welf «/u» and a «u»Saxon «/u»noblewoman named «u»Hedwig, Duchess of Bavaria «/u» (780 - 826). She became Queen consort of the Franks.
Judith ensured that her son «u»Charles «/u» received a share of the kingdom, just like his three half-brothers from «u»Louis' «/u» first marriage. This contributed to the ensuing civil war among Louis and his sons. Rebels temporarily imprisoned Judith in the «u»convent «/u» of «u»Poitiers «/u» on allegations of adultery during 830. From 833 to 834, she was exiled in «u»Tortona «/u».
Judith was the first member of the «u»Elder House of Welf «/u» to have a leading role in the Frankish kingdom. Whether by coincidence or through Judith's influence, in the years following her marriage to Louis her mother and both of her brothers gained important offices in the kingdom. Her sister «u»Hemma «/u» married «u»Louis the German «/u», a son of Louis the Pious from his first marriage, in 827. Judith was buried at the basilica of «u»St. Martin «/u» in «u»Tours «/u»
Well I found another split this time with Louis I and his older brother Pe pin I of Italy, King of Italy. These are the two oldest sons of Charlemag ne Emperor of the West, King of Frank and his wife Hildegarde of Vinzga u. Charlemagne had his children in jobs all over Europe it seems.
Any way our lines separate with these two and join again with William D'Au bigny, 2nd Earl Arundel.
William's father, William "Strong Hand" Aubigny, 1st Earl Arundel, is a de scendant of Pepin I of Italy, King of Italy and his wife Bertha of Toulous e.

Our ancestral lines lead back to Welf of Alemannia, Count and his wife Hei lwig through their two Daughters:
Judith of Bavaria
and
Emma of Bavaria
Judith married Louis I the Pious of Aquitaine, King of France and we met t hem before as our lines pass through two of their children also.
