Historian Strype concluded that «b»Mary«/b» must have died in childhood, but historian Strickland believes she lived to become a wife and mother, marrying a «b»Sir Edward Bushel«/b», by who she had a daughter through whom her fortune and pedigree eventually descended to the Lawson family who originally came from Westmorland and Cumberland. There is yet to be any documented proof of this, the evidence is only from the 18th C.
