- Kate Jane and Gilbert owned a farm in Westdale which burned
about 1910. They moved to Mexico Road in Camden and lived
there until their deaths. Kate Jane lived in the Camden area
all of her life and raised six children and maintained their
home. Gilbert was a carpenter and built Victorian homes in
Watertown, N.Y. and later worked at Marcy State Hospital and
the Masonic Home in Oneida, N.Y.
