obituary read: Mrs. George Bradford Corless died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Albert McBeth, 199 Whiting St., Monday
morning. She was in her 87th year. Mrs. Corless had been in
failing health for a number of years and seriously ill for the
past 10 weeks. The former Mary Mabee, she was born in Houghton
[township], and had lived in the Aylmer district until coming
to Ingersoll last January. Mrs. Corless was a member of the
Aylmer United Church, and an active member of the Women's
Institute and Ladies Aid of that church. Her husband
predeceased her in 1917. Surviving are one son, Dell J.
Corless, Flint, Michigan; five daughters, Mrs. George McQuiggan
[Fern], Toronto; Mrs. Albert McBeth [Maggie], Ingersoll; Mrs.
Karl Rindlehardt [Gladys], Detroit; Mrs. Ervin Roy [Norma],
Lincoln Park, Michigan; Mrs. Roy Brittin [Edna], Windsor; one
brother, James Mabee , Straffordville, 26 grandchildren and 39
great-gran! dchildren. The funeral was held from the Walker
Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Frank
Swackhammer, of Temple Baptist Church, Toronto, officiated and
interment was at the Dorchester Union Cemetery. Casket bearers
were: Donald McBeth, Max and Gerry McQuiggan, Walter and Ronald
Rindlehardt and Grant Roy, all grandsons. The funeral was
largely attended and there were numerous floral tributes
