      Maybee died at his home in the village yesterday afternoon
      after a long illness from consumption. Truman D. Maybee was
      born in Montcalm County, Michigan and was 43 years, and 7
      months old at the time of his death. He had lived here many
      years and was employed in the mills of the Bardeen Paper
      Company. Mr. Maybe professed faith in Jesus Christ as his
      Savior while on his sick bed and he was baptised by the Rev.
      H.D. Skinner some days ago. A daughter and an aged mother
      survive him. The funeral will be held from the house Friday
      afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. Skinner
