	22 Dec 1950 Syracuse, New York PFP obituary read: Mrs. Clara Wood Maybee, 89, widow of John H. Maybee, died yesterday at her home at 45 Gouverneur St. She had been in failing health for the past two years. She was born in Edwards, March 6, 1861, daughter of Silas and Laura Austin Wood. Mr. Maybee died in March 1942. Mrs. Maybee was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Edwards and the Universalist Church of Canton. Surviving are one son Nelson A. Maybee of Canto; three daughters, Mrs. John Gilmore of Dekalb, Mrs. Mildred McKenney of Canton, and Mrs. Ralph Gardner of Alexandria: 12 grandchildren and 30 great grand children. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the late home with the Rev. Edna P. Bruner officiating Burial will be in Evergreen.
