- They moved from Parish to Franklin Grove, Ill., in 1853 or
1854, thence to Lexington, Mich., in 1856, thence to
Burlingame, Kansas, in 1868. He was killed in a sawmill near
Emporia, Kansas, in 1873. His wife died at Muskogee, Oklahoma,
in 1901. Children: William A., Joseph W., Mary E., Sarah A.,
Charles M., Chauncey, Ella M., Hannah M., Emma L., Eva A.,
Edgar R., Henry, and Maggie.
