      Walnut Street, died at 11 a.m. today after a long illness. He
      was born in Pennsylvania November 20, 1834 and moved with his
      parents to Belvidere, Ill. He was married to Mary Jane Howe,
      Marengo, Ill. May 1, 1861.
      They moved to Iowa about 54 years ago and engaged in farming in
      Butler county, moving to Waterloo in 1888, where they had since
      made their home. Mr. Mabie is survived by Widow, daughter,
      Clifton Mabie Keeler, Oklahoma City; a brother Jacob Maybie and
      a sister, Mrs. Julia Rhoads, both of Crompton, Fla.
      The body is at Hileman & Gindt's funeral home pending funeral
      arrangements.
