10 Apr 1784 |
Fredrickborough Precinct, Dutchess County, New York [2] |
- On 4/10/1784, Abraham Mabee and Phebee Mabee, his wife, of
Fredrickborough Precinct Dutchess County, sold a tract of land
containing 187 acres to John Mabee for 5 shillings. This tract
was bounded on the North and East by the lands of Peter Mabee
(Abraham's son). The price of 5 shillings is very low for this
amount of acreage and clearly is in the form a bequeath.
