  Obituary	obituary received by John Hazelwood from Thelma Fox... ROBERT HAZELWOOD, 77, of Boissevain, Man., died Thursday at Victoria hospital. He was born in Goderich, Huron County, Ont., the son of the late John Hazelwood and Catherine Hart. After coming to Winipeg 69 years ago, he moved to Thornhill for a few years and then to Whitewater in 1886. In 1891, he married Esther Hill of Boissevain. One son, Harkness, was killed in the last war [WWI] and a daughter, Edna, died in childhood. Surviving are three daughters, Mildred of Saskatoon; Rose of Minot, N.D. and Kitty in Minnesota. He is also survived by five brothers, Alonzo, of Boissevain; George, of Hardisty, Alta.; Jack, of New Bridgen, Alta.; Will, of North Battleford, Sask.; Joseph, of Wideview, Sask.; and one sister, Edith Ann of Goodlands, Man. Another sister, Ella, died a year ago. The body now resting at Mordue's funeral home will be sent to Boissevain cemetery Sunday at 2 p. m. ...another note says...he was a horse trainer for D. I have seen the birth certificate of her brother Leroy's [adopted name Elmer Leroy Morris] who was born a few years earlier and it says that Esther was the mother and that the father was unknown.
