rother and heir of «b»John De Ros, 8th Lord Ros«/b», and was aged fourteen at his brother's death. He was knighted BEF the «b»King«/b» at Leicester on 19 May 1426, served in France under the «b»Duke of Bedford«/b» in 1427, and was summoned to Parliament in 1429. Died on the 18 Aug 1430, having drowned in the River Seine near Paris, during one of the many small, un-reported actions and skirmishes of the 'Hundred years War' with France.
