- Cause of death-accident while tree trimming with his Uncle Bill Lowes and Bill Marvel. Part of the trunk swung down and hit him in the chest and stopped his heart. Bill Marvel tried to blow breath into him but couldn't. They were too far out and help did not arrive in time. Services at Reardon Chapel on Feb 16 1949. Vocal selections "Sometime we will understand" and "Nearer to the heart of God" by Mrs Hope Nichols and organist Mary Reardon
