to cement an alliance with Burgundy, «b»Edward IV«/b» offered his youngest sister in marriage to «b»Charles Duke of Burgundy«/b». The marriage took place on Jul 3, 1468 in Bruges, the capital of «b»Charles«/b»' Flemish territory. As the Paston letters make clear, both Paston brothers («b»John II«/b» and «b»John III«/b») attended the wedding as members of the «b»Princess«/b»'s retinue. In a letter dated Jul 8, 1468, «b»John Paston III«/b» describes the wedding to his mother.
