In 1527, she wrote her cousin, «b»Lord Arundel«/b», begging to be taken into Royal Service as her new step-mother was cruel to her. She is pressumably identical to the "«i»Mrs. Souche«/i»" who received a gift of jewelled borders from «u»«b»Queen Jane Seymour <http://www.tudorplace.com.ar/aboutJaneSeymour.htm>«/u»«/b» and attended her funeral in 1537. In 1542 she was granted anannuity of ten pounds "«i»in consideration of her service to the King and the late Queen Jane«/i»"
