She had given birth to a baby in Old Aberdeen on 11 Jun 1570 and on 23 Aug boarded a ship, arriving with her baby at Bruges on 31 Aug 1570. In Flanders, she was to live in various places, i.a. Malines (1572), Brussels (1574), Liege (1575).
