    • Died Lillie Mae Smith in Santa Rosa, California nursing home. She was transported to Toppenish, WA and buried next to her second husband, Frank Smith. Other birth dates: 1879 (family records) and 1875 (Social Security administration) Lillie Mae Armstrong died Lillie Mae Smith in a Santa Rosa, CA nursing home. Family information says Lillie Mae Armstrong Cochran-Smith was born in the year 1879. Social Security Records show she was born 1875. After the death of the last child, Alice Cochran, in 1903, Lillie Mae Armstrong-Cochran left Garnett H. Cochran and divorced him. They lived in a cabin way up in the mountains. It was very far to the doctor, and according to Pearl Cochran, the baby was dead by the time they got to the doctor. Lillie Mae could just not bear to go back so she divorced.
