Is said by some to have been of the privy council to «b»Henry VI«/b»; by others he is called the King's Physician; the former is the more probable, as he was buried in Worcester cathedral. He had two wives; by the first, «b»Margaret«/b», dau. of «b»John Sandys«/b», esq. of Furnes Felles, in Lancashire, he had an only son.
