was the 55th Monarch. His brother Duach had two sons, Eochaidh Framhuine and Conang Beag-eaglach, who were the 51st and 53rd Monarchs of Ireland. Fiachi's life was ended by the sword of Oilioll Fionn, of the Line of Heber Fionn, B.C. 795.

Fíachu Tolgrach«/b», son of «u»Muiredach Bolgrach «/u», was a legendary «u»High King of Ireland «/u», according to some medieval and early modern Irish sources. In the «u»«i»Lebor Gabála Érenn «/u»«/i» he is not a High King: he kills the former High King «u»Art mac Lugdach «/u», but during the reign of Art's son «u»Ailill Finn «/u» he is killed in battle against «u»Airgetmar «/u». His son «u»Dui Ladrach «/u» later becomes High King.«u»[1]«/u» However, in «u»Geoffrey Keating «/u»'s «i»Foras Feasa ar Éirinn«u»«/i»[2]«/u» and the «u»«i»Annals of the Four Masters «/i»[3]«/u» he succeeds Art as High King and rules for seven or ten years, until he is killed by Ailill Finn, who succeeds him. The chronology of Keating's «i»Foras Feasa ar Éirinn«/i» dates his reign to 593-586 BC, that of the «i»Annals of the Four Masters«/i» to 806-796 BC.
