Henry«/b» («i»Arricus«/i» or «i»Arrico«/i») (1160 \endash 1172) was the youngest and second surviving son of «u»William I of Sicily «/u» by «u»Margaret of Navarre «/u». By his father's will he succeeded to the title «u»Prince of Capua «/u», an «u»appanage «/u» to the throne, while his brother «u»William «/u» succeeded to the throne.
Henry's coronation as prince was postponed from the death of his father (1166). He was present with William at «u»Taranto «/u», where the young king awaited his Greek bride. They planned to return via «u»Capua «/u» and there invest Henry with his principality, but not far off from the town, Henry came down with a high fever. He was hurried to «u»Salerno «/u» and thence to «u»Palermo «/u», but died within the month. According to legend, he was betrothed to a daughter of «u»Malcolm IV of Scotland «/u» on his deathbed, but this is false. Malcolm had no issue. He was originally buried in the chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene, but was moved by his brother to «u»Monreale «/u», the final resting place of most of his family.
