According to Wurts, in his " Magna Charta ," Claudius had a daughter, Venissa (Venus Julia), but there is no record as to which of Claudius' wives was her mother. This connection has not been confirmed elsewhere and is highly questionable.

Venissa«/b» («b»Genissa«/b», «b»Genvissa«/b», «b»Genuissa«/b»), according to «u»Geoffrey of Monmouth «/u»'s twelfth century «u»«i»Historia Regum Britanniae «/u»«/i», was a daughter of the «u»Roman Emperor «/u» «u»Claudius «/u», whom he gave in marriage to the British king «u»Arvirargus «/u» once he had submitted to Rome.
According to Geoffrey's account she was very beautiful, and so enchanted Arvirargus that he preferred her company to anyone else's. He founded «u»Gloucester «/u», supposedly named after Claudius, in her honour. When Arvirargus fell out with Rome and «u»Vespasian «/u» was sent to enforce a reconciliation, Venissa acted as mediator between them.«u»[1]
