«b»Aufidia«/b» or «b»Alfidia«/b» (flourished «u»1st century BC «/u»), was a «u»Roman «/u». Aufidia was a daughter to Roman Magistrate Marcus «u»Aufidius Lurco «/u» and her mother is unknown. She was a member of the «u»gens «/u» «u»Aufidius «/u», a Roman family of «u»Plebs «/u» status, who appeared in the «u»Roman Republic «/u» and «u»Roman Empire «/u». They became a family of consular rank. Her father originally came from Fundi (modern «u»Fondi «/u», «u»Italy «/u»).
She married the future «u»praetor «/u», «u»Marcus Livius Drusus Claudianus «/u». They had at least two children: a daughter «u»Livia «/u» Drusilla (58 BC-29) and a son «u»Marcus Livius Drusus «/u», who served as a Roman consul. Livia was to become the first Roman Empress and third wife of the first «u»Roman Emperor «/u» «u»Augustus «/u». Aufidia would be the maternal grandmother to «u»Roman Emperor «/u» «u»Tiberius «/u» Claudius Nero and Roman General «u»Nero Claudius Drusus «/u».
