Puzur-Ashur III«/b» was the «u»king «/u» of «u»Assyria «/u» from 1503 BC to 1479 BC. According to the «u»Assyrian King List «/u», he was the son and successor of «u»Ashur-nirari I «/u» and ruled for 24 years. He is also the first Assyrian king to appear in the synchronistic history, where he is described as a contemporary of Burnaburiash of «u»Babylon «/u». «u»[1]«/u» A few of his building inscriptions were found at «u»Assur «/u». He rebuilt part of the temple of «u»Ishtar «/u» in his capital, «u»Ashur «/u», and the southern parts of the city wall. «u»[2]
