Her mother was the royal nurse «u»Ipu [2]«/u». It is possible that her father was the important official «u»Ahmose Pen-Nekhebet [3]«/u». Satiah died during her husband's reign and Thutmose's next Great Royal Wife was «u»Merytre-Hatshepsut «/u». No children of Satiah are known, though there is a possibility that Prince «u»Amenemhat «/u» \endash Thutmose's eldest son, who died before his father \endash was her son«u»[4]«/u».
Satiah's titles include: King's Wife (hmt-nisw), Great King's Wife (hmt-niswt-wrt) and God's Wife (hmt-ntr).«u»[5]
