Mutnedjmet«/b» was an «u»ancient Egyptian «/u» queen of the «u»21st dynasty «/u». She was the «u»Great Royal Wife «/u» of her brother, «u»Psusennes I «/u», and was the mother of «u»Pharaoh Amenemope «/u» and Prince Ankhefenmut.«u»[1]

She was the daughter of High Priest of Amun «u»Pinedjem I «/u», who was the «i»de facto«/i» ruler of Southern Egypt from 1070 BCE onwards, then proclaimed himself pharaoh in 1054 BCE. Her mother was «u»Duathathor-Henuttawy «/u», a daughter of «u»Ramesses XI «/u», last ruler of the «u»20th dynasty «/u». Three of her brothers succeeded each other as High Priests of Amun and a sister, «u»Maatkare «/u» became «u»God's Wife of Amun «/u».«u»[2]

She is depicted as a young girl in the «u»Luxor temple «/u» with her sisters Maatkare and «u»Henuttawy «/u». She is also shown in the «u»Tanis «/u» tomb of her husband, where she was buried; here she is depicted as a queen in her burial chamber. The tomb was later usurped by her son Amenemope, and her mummy was lost. Several burial items are now in the «u»Egyptian Museum «/u» in «u»Cairo «/u».«u»[1]
