Theodemir«/b» was king of the «u»Ostrogoths «/u» of the «u»Amal Dynasty «/u», and father of «u»Theodoric the Great «/u». He had an elder brother named «u»Walamir«/u» and a younger named «u»Widimir «/u». Theodemir was «u»Arian «/u», while his wife «u»Erelieva «/u» was «u»Catholic «/u». He took over the three «u»Pannonian Goth «/u» empires after the death of Widimir, ruled jointly with his brothers «u»Walamir «/u» and «u»Widimir «/u», and was a vassal of «u»Attila the Hun «/u». The reason is probably that this relatively long reign of the Ostrogoths in Pannonia, while his elder brother Thiudimir only for four years on the throne, followed by Theodoric, and the first in which erbenlosen Walamir part beerbte kingdom.
