      Tiberius Julius Rhescuporis IV«/b», sometimes known as «b»Rhescuporis IV«/b» (flourished «u»3rd century «/u», died 235) was a prince and «u»Roman «/u» client king of the «u»Bosporan Kingdom «/u». The Bosporan Kingdom was the longest surviving known Roman Client Kingdom.

      Rhescuporis IV was the second born son to the Bosporan King «u»Tiberius Julius Cotys III «/u» and his mother was an unnamed «u»Sarmatian «/u» noble woman. He was of «u»Persian «/u», «u»Greek «/u» and Roman ancestry. His two brothers were princes «u»Tiberius Julius Sauromates III «/u» and «u»Tiberius Julius Ininthimeus «/u».

      Through his father, Rhescuporis IV was a descendant of the «u»Seleucid Empire «/u», the «u»Antipatrid dynasty «/u», the «u»Antigonid dynasty «/u», King «u»Mithridates II of Pontus «/u», «u»Roman Republican «/u» consul «u»Gaius Antonius Hybrida «/u», Roman Triumvir «u»Mark Antony «/u», Roman Client Rulers «u»Polemon I of Pontus «/u», «u»Pythodorida of Pontus «/u» and «u»Cotys VIII «/u» of «u»Thrace «/u». Through the triumvir Antony, Rhescuporis IV was related to various members of the «u»Julio-Claudian dynasty «/u», the first dynasty to rule the Roman Empire.
      Rhescuporis IV in 233 succeeded his first brother Sauromates III after his death. His first brother was first co-ruler in the reign of their father Cotys III. Rhescuporis IV was co-ruler with Cotys III, until he died in 235. His royal title on coins is «b» «/b» or «b»King Rhescuporis«/b». Rhescuporis IV was a contemporary to the rule of the «u»Roman Emperor «/u» «u»Alexander Severus «/u». Very little is known on the life and reign of Rhescuporis IV. In 235, Rhescuporis IV was succeeded by his younger brother «u»Tiberius Julius Ininthimeus «/u».
