Rutherford is a train dispatcher...live at 1124 Grand Avenue, St.Paul,MN...
per Jim Crawford...Rutherford is my grandfather...according to my mother, he went to homestead in South Dakota in the early 1900's near Cash, SD...my aunt, Ruth Crawford MacDonnell wrote an extensive, interesting account of the family's experiences there titled, "Song of the Meadowlark"...moved back to St. Paul, MN during WWI as Rutherford had formerly been a telegrapher for the Railroad and they needed people to perform those tasks during that time...he continued to work for the RR until he retired...
