William was also known as Wetherill. He and Mary Fisher immigrated in 1634 on the Hercules departing from Sandwich, England, arriving in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children «u»Samuel «/u», «u»Daniel«/u» and «u»Thomas «/u» traveled with them. Reverend William Wetherell was a schoolmaster, then pastor of the church in Scituate. He left a will on 29 March 1684.«sup»2«/sup» His will was proved/probated on 4 June 1684.
