| Notes |
- The «b»Tui Cakau«/b» is the Paramount Chief of «u»Cakaudrove Province «/u» in «u»Fiji «/u». In Modern Fiji this chiefly title is regarded as the most senior in the «u»Tovata Confederacy «/u», and the third most senior in the country.
The «i»Tui Cakau«/i» ruled what was effectively an independent state until 1865, when Cakaudrove joined the «u»Confederacy of Independent Kingdoms of Viti «/u» under the chairmanship of «u»Seru Epenisa Cakobau «/u», the «u»Vunivalu of Bau «/u». This lasted only until 1867, when the Confederacy was split into two units, the «u»Kingdom of Bau «/u» (ruled by Cakobau) and the «u»Confederation of Lau «/u» (consisting of the present-day provinces of Cakaudrove, «u»Bua «/u», and «u»Lau «/u»). The then «i»Tui Cakau«/i», «u»Ratu Goleanavanua «/u», became the first «i»Captain Supreme«/i» of the Confederation of Lau; he was succeeded two years later by «u»Enele Ma'afu «/u», who reigned until the Confederation of Lau joined the united «u»Kingdom of Viti «/u» in 1871
